A checking fixture (CF) recreates the datum reference frame of a part so that dimensions can be verified quickly and repeatably on the shop floor. The starting point is always the customer's GD&T drawing and datum scheme.
Locating and clamping details are machined to fully constrain the part exactly as it is defined, then go / no-go pins, profile gauges and CMM-ready reference points are added where the drawing calls for them.
Every fixture ships with a calibration report and, where required, an R&R study so that measurement uncertainty is understood before the tool enters production inspection.
